Questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your device, in your browser. We never receive your files. You can even switch to airplane mode after the page has loaded and it keeps working.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and SVG as input. JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF as output. GIF and SVG stay in their own format. HEIC is not supported yet.
Will quality suffer?
Smart mode aims for savings you cannot see at normal size. Use the Compare button to drag between the original and the result before you download.
What happens to metadata such as GPS location?
It is removed by default. For JPG files you can choose to keep camera data in the options.
Is it free?
Yes. The site is supported by advertising.
